 As owner of a residence in Heritage Village, you qualify for Membership.   Use of the Clubhouse and the amenities area is restricted to Members in good standing in the Heritage Village Recreation Club.  If the unit is rented, the member (owner) will retain the right to vote at general meetings, but can assign the right to use the Clubhouse and amenities area to his/her tenant. As a newcomer, you  are welcome to a guided tour of the Clubhouse. Contact any Board Member or the Office Manager at 905-562-4121. 

The  following rules of etiquette and regul;ations are for everyone's benefit.  You are encouraged to participate in  activities and   use the facilities.   If you wish to see a copy of the HVRC Bylaws, they are located in a binder in the Clubhouse Lounge.

 

 OPENING AND CLOSING

The Clubhouse opens between 7:30 and 8 AM every day and closes at 10 PM unless otherwise notified.  Volunteers are needed to help as openers and closers. Please contact the Board Member responsible for Security.

 

 ACCESS KEY CARDS

These cards are issued only to residents of Heritage Village and are used to access the Clubhouse.  The cards must not be used by anyone other than a member.  The first card is free to new residents and additional or replacement cards are $10 each. 

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

dress DRESS CODE

Cover-ups and shoes must be worn if you are coming to the clubhouse for a swim.  Minimum dress code for workouts in the fitness room is T-shirts, shorts and shoes.  No tank tops please.  No one under the age of 18 may use the work out equipment.   Street shoes must be removed before entering the change room and pool areas.

Smoking is not allowed in the Clubhouse.

 Pets are not allowed in the Clubhouse.

 Use of the Clubhouse and the amenities area is restricted to members in good standing in the Heritage Village Recreation Club.  If the unit is rented, the member (owner) will retain the right to vote at general meetings, but can assign the right to use the Clubhouse and amenities area to his/her tenant(s).

 Members may bring up to three (3) guests to use the Clubhouse, but must remain with them ar all times while in the Clubhouse. 

  • Outside emergency exits must not be used except in emergencies.
  •  Heritage Village Recreation Club is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

 

rentalCLUBHOUSE RENTAL/ ROOM RESERVATION GUIDELINES

Heritage Hall and the Party Room are available for rental by the residents of Heritage Village only.  Any clubhouse member in good standing may reserve for the purpose of a private celebration. However, no such function will be advertised outside of Heritage Village.  Neither of these rooms will be available for use by an outside group and/or organization. The occasional exception may be made at the Board's discretion, i.e. Government Elections, Public Health Clinics etc.  Groups originating from within the clubhouse may also reserve these rooms as required i.e. Social Club, Village Players, etc.  Members must notify the office if they wish to rent one of the rooms.  For a large function, a month’s notice is normally required.  All reservation requests must be submitted to the club's Office Manager in order to avoid duplicate bookings.  Rooms are subject to availability, and there is a rental fee and security deposit required.  Please contact the office for more details.

 

phoneTELEPHONE DIRECTORY

Twice yearly a telephone directory is printed and  distributed via the Inheritage Magazine.  Ensure you have registered with the Clubhouse Office to be included in the Telephone Directory as well as added to the Access Card database.

 

garbageGARBAGE AND RECYCLING

Garbage and the contents of recycling boxes are picked up early on Thursday mornings.  Please make sure that all bags are securely tied.  Garden waste must be bagged and can be put out at this time. Blue and grey boxes are picked up on alternate weeks.
