The following groups have an on-going need for volunteers to carry on the success of our first two decades.  Contact the HVRC Office or the appropriate Board Member  if you have skills to contribute or are willing to learn.

This team meets once a month to plan social events.  We welcome input from the residents.  We need volunteers to help with activities such as setting up and putting away tables and chairs, kitchen duties, decorating, cleaning.  If you are interested in getting involved, please speak with the Program Director.

Throughout the day, volunteers monitor the accuracy of the automatic chemical feeder for the pool and hot tub.

All members in the Village receive this magazine every month.  It lists a calendar of events and information regarding future programs.  Sign up sheets are on the Office bulletin board.  Volunteers are always needed to help with layout, cutting, pasting, proof-reading, advertising, distribution, writing articles, and taking pictures.  Please contact the Inheritage if you would like to help.

 video ancientAUDIO VISUAL /HVTV

The audio visual equipment is found throughout the Clubhouse and is used for movie night, special events, fitness classes, and the Village Players’ Productions.  Sound technicians, lighting technicians, DVD projector operators, TV studio computer or camera operations are always needed.  For example, recent movies are shown on the big screen in Heritage Hall on the fourth Saturday of the month .

The library is located upstairs in the Clubhouse.  In addition to many books, there is an assortment of puzzles, games, and movies.  No sign up is required, so feel free to borrow and return any of the above.  Contributions of books, games and magazines are also welcome.

garbage PROPERTY (Clubhouse)

This volunteer committee meets once a month to divy up jobs regarding indoor and outdoor maintenance.

PURCHASING (Clubhouse)

To purchase items or equipment  is done via the Board Member responsible for Purchasing.  This may need Board approval.

Happy Hour is held from 4 to 6 PM on the third Saturday of every month.  Each Happy Hour is hosted by volunteers.  It is a great place to meet other residents and have a good time.

Coffee mornings are held from 10 to 11 AM on the second and fourth Saturday of every month.  There is no charge so come out and meet your neighbours. Coffee Mornings are prepared by volunteers, usually two, signed up some months in advance.

There is a $25 fee payable once a year (at the HVRC Office) for those wishing to use the workshop.  A workshop committee sets rules and schedules.
